Hey lovelies, do you want to hear a little secret?
If you keep up to date with DEWCY you’re probably already aware, but for those of you who aren’t, we’re coming up to DEWCY’s 2nd Anniversary. Yes. For two whole years DEWCY has been providing all you lovelies with products that make you feel and look your best. In the blog this week we’ll be going more into depth about our philosophies, our history, our charitable background and everything that makes us who we are.
Of course, at DEWCY, the main thing on our minds is empowering all you guys, our main mission always has and will continue to be to promote achievable beauty, keeping things truthful and beautiful, removing all that false hope & hype. We vow to share everything with you and be 100% transparent with our “What We Know You Know” policy.
One other thing that we take pride in at DEWCY is giving back and helping those who need helping. A little history lesson, when DEWCY was first starting out, we partnered up with the climate change advocators and one of the world’s best organisations for improving the world, Ecologi. And for those who may not know who they are, Ecologi is a global climate change organisation that helps to combat climate change through Carbon avoidance and Reforestation. Their big one being the Eden Reforestation Projects, (which if you have the time or the money), is wholeheartedly worth checking out, as Ecologi in just 2021 alone, Ecologi planted just under 24 million trees. They also do a fantastic job for the world by working alongside local communities to restore forests on an unprecedented scale, creating jobs, protecting the ecosystem and helping to mitigate climate change. Not just that, but we also love to donate back to causes that make a massive impact on the world. Last year, we set up an initiative where we would donate a percentage of our profits to a charity of our choosing, last year we donated to the World Wildlife Fund. Some of our previous partners include, but not limited to Womankind Worldwide, Lend With Care, and several breast cancer charities.
But this year guys, we would like to get you involved and hear who you think we should donate to? With so many fabulous organisations and charities around the world, making their mark and helping, there’s just so many to choose from, which is where we’d like you guys to come into the picture.
